COVID-19 INFORMATION UPDATE

FACE COVERINGS/MASK ARE REQUIRED!!!


WE'RE STILL HERE TO SERVE YOU, UPON ENTERING THE BUILDING YOU WILL HAVE YOUR TEMPERATURE TAKEN, BE PROVIDED A MASK, AND HAND CLEANSER TO HELP SLOW THE SPREAD OF COVID-19.


CURRENTLY CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS ARE HELD VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 the City of Marion will begin holding its meetings both via Zoom and at the Marion Depot and City Hall to allow the public onsite access while practicing social distancing. Meetings are 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month @ 6:00 p.m. see Zoom login information under the governing body tab.


COVID-19 TESTING IS AVAILABLE AT THREE LOCATIONS IN MARION, AL

THE CITY OF MARION HAS A CURFEW FOR ALL NON-ESSENTIAL PURPOSES (PLEASE SEE CURFEW BUTTON BELOW)


YOU CAN PAY YOUR WATER AND SEWER BILLS ONLINE @ WWW.CITYOFMARIONAL.ORG UNDER OR WATER/SEWER TAB. DROP YOUR PAYMENT IN OUR OUTSIDE DROP BOX, PAY AT OUR FRONT WINDOW (MUST WEAR A MASK AND WILL BE SERVED VIA OUR WINDOW SERVICES), OR PAY OVER THE PHONE @ 1-844-278-9217.

ALL CITY RECREATIONAL EVENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED IN ORDER TO HELP SLOW THE SPREAD OF COVID-19. 

Watch for symptoms


People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

•Fever or chills

•Cough

•Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

•Fatigue

•Muscle or body aches

•Headache

•New loss of taste or smell

•Sore throat

•Congestion or runny nose

•Nausea or vomiting

•Diarrhea


This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.

WE HAVE YOU COVERED AND WILL ENSURE YOUR SAFETY AT THE POLLS WHILE VOTING.


WE'VE IMPLEMENTED GLASS DIVIDERS FOR OUR POLL WORKERS AND THE PUBLIC AND WILL HAVE HAND CLEANSING STATIONS, GLOVES, A LARGE NUMBER OF PENS FOR BALLOTING TO SLOW THE SPREAD, AND MASK AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC.
